Carters adheres to the Code of Practice created by the Performance Textiles Association - the governing body designed to set standards, technical excellence and accreditation. Special care is taken to comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements for the protection of clients and staff and all materials and fabrics comply with British and European standards.
 
MUTA (Made-Up Textiles Association)
The marquee section of MUTA is the UK's only professional body dedicated to furthering the cause of marquee manufacturers and hirers. As a member, John M Carter Ltd and its client base enjoy the following benefits:
· The protection of the Home Office and local authority-recognised self regulating quality assurance scheme covering flame retardancy of marquees.
· A code of practice, registered with the Office of Fair Trade, giving John M Carter Ltd customers increased confidence in the company.
