Exhibition & Show Marquees

Having a very proud history John M Carter Ltd. has been the major marquee hire contractor for many years to a number of large Agricultural Shows across the south of England, often since they were first established. We also supply marquees to many craft shows, steam rallies and smaller country fairs, festivals and exhibitions. With high staff retention we have very knowledgeable site foremen, and teams with high expertise in the erection and dismantling of marquees.

We have a vast stock of both traditional marquees, up to 50ft wide, and frame marquees, up to 25m wide, which enable us to cater for all types and sizes of events. These can be added to with level flooring and lining where required. We also stock and supply furniture to most of the shows that we are contracted to, including 6ft trestle tables, folding chairs, patio furniture and banqueting chairs and tables. We have a close relationship with electrical, audio visual, mobile toilet, shell scheme and temporary tracking companies to help supply a complete package.

Carters often supply small individual trade stand marquees at outside shows in a range of sizes to suit customers requirements and plot size. Rows of shedding units are available for traders which can be fitted with banner rails at the front. Banners, flags and printing are all available to help brand the customer’s livery to the marquee.

All of our marquee stock is carefully looked after and managed throughout the year. This is simplified with the use of state of the art machinery including a new 5m PVC cover washing machine to ensure clean covers. Both the traditional canvas marquees and PVC frame marquee covers are manufactured in-house to ensure a top quality product. All materials are flame retardant to the latest standards, and we are also a member of MUTA, who regulate the marquee hire industry.
